Approach to Care
"As a fellowship-trained and board-certified sports medicine surgeon, I am dedicated to treating each of my patients as family. My first choice, always, is to pursue conservative treatment options for my patients. When surgery is necessary, I use the most advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques, so my patients can get back to their active lives.
My passion for medicine started as a child and, as an athlete through my college years, sports medicine was a natural draw. It was my work with renowned physician Dr. Lee Rice, however, that confirmed my commitment to this specialty. A pioneer in the field of sports medicine, Dr. Rice served as team physician for San Diego State University athletics—and for pro football’s San Diego Chargers. I could not have had a better teacher and mentor.
I spent the past 16 years practicing in the Chicago area. My family and I are delighted now to be living on the beautiful coast of Lake Michigan—and to being part of this community. I look forward to meeting with you!"
